Creamy Bacon Pasta
A simple weeknight meal. This creamy pasta will be a favorite with the whole family. Replace bacon with baby spinach for a vegetarian option.
Ingredients
1 brown onion, finely diced
200g finely diced bacon
250mL cream
20mL Pukara Estate Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Half tbls Pukara Estate Pepper and Olive Smoked Salt Flakes
350g fettuccine, cooked al dente
Method
Add Garlic EVOO to a large frypan over medium heat. Pan-fry onion until translucent, then add bacon and cook until golden. Add cream, reduce heat, and cook until slightly thickened. Add Smoked Salt and cooked pasta, stirring until combined. Serve with a garnish of chopped parsley leaves.
