A delicious toasty for anytime of the day!
Ingredients
2 Fresh Figs, Halved
4 Prosciutto Slices
2 Slices Sourdough Bread
300g Mozzarella Cheese
1 Tbsp White Sugar
1 Garlic Clove
30mL Pukara Estate Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
10mL Pukara Estate Fig Balsamic Vinegar
Method
Heat a grill plate over high heat. Rub half of the premium olive oil into the halved figs and coat lightly in sugar. Cook on both sides until golden and caramelized. Meanwhile, toast the sourdough slices. Rub garlic into each slice and drizzle with premium olive oil. Top with prosciutto slices and mozzarella cheese. Place under a hot grill until the cheese has melted. Top with grilled fig halves, drizzle with fig balsamic, and serve immediately.
