Hummus with a touch of smoke!
Ingredients
400 g canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons of tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
2 - 3 tablespoons Pukara Estate Natural Smoked EVOO
1/2 teaspoon of Pukara Estate Oak Smoked Salt Flakes
Method
Place chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, Oak Smoked Salt Flakes, and 2 tablespoons of the Natural Smoked EVOO into a high-speed food processor and process until combined.
Add the extra Natural Smoked EVOO or water and process until smooth.
Place hummus into a serving bowl, drizzle with Natural Smoked EVOO, and sprinkle a pinch of paprika over the top.
Serve with toasted Turkish bread and vegetable sticks.
